Color Blind Films took on the challenge of fully producing, capturing and editing the 2019 edition of Red Bull Conquer The Castle – a medieval-themed OCR event like no other. This is a race where the world’s best OCR athletes become warriors as they face over 20 obstacles on their journey of conquering the castle of the enemy – and the unique obstacles include things such as bow & arrow, raging battle field and the catapult, to name but a few. The film was created in post-live format where the first part focuses on storytelling around the sport and the event itself, before switching gears to the “live stream mode” where we see key highlights from both the Women & Men’s finals – replacing the traditional live stream experience and only focusing on the most crucial moments. We were in charge of all stages of production and the finished product was released on redbull.com just weeks after the event.
